This fine 19th Century Listed house overlooking Lords Cricket Ground had been mistreated in the 1930s. The front entrance steps were rebuilt and the front garden restored. Internally many period features were replaced including fireplaces and mouldings. At the rear former service areas were rebuilt and extended to form a large family kitchen with new bathrooms and a terrace over.

13, Broadwater Down, Tunbridge Wells

A 19th Century Victorian Italinate villa, typical of this part of Tunbridge Wells, but too big for general current living requirements for a family. Conversion and extension (two storey wing added to right hand side facing) to create 9 flats (4 x 1 bed, 5 x 2 bed) with associated parking and some individual gardens – as well as attractive communal lawn and planting to the front of the house. The considerable boundary trees and general planting was rescued from overgrowth and enhanced.

The centre house of a fine 1826 regency terrace had been divided into two maisonettes in the 1950's and an inappropriate asbestos clad extension had been replaced. The house was restored as one and a new and enlarged rear extension provided a blinkered (to avoid overlooking) 2nd floor balcony and a glass walled garden room. Glass floor panels take light down from the roof to the back of the extension and the top floor within the roof was reshaped internally and enlarged with a dormer which matches and thereby reduced the impact of adjoining earlier addition.
